Keith and Sherill, Finca Limoneros
Great place and Keith and Sherill are a lovely couple who made us really welcome. Finca Limoneros lives fully up to its website!! Great place for birding or just chilling out and even trainspotting. One week was not enough but we hope to return in another season to catch the migrants! Green Tourism at its best. We look forward to seeing developments - Sherill's garden and Keith's lagoon on the next visit!
Alan and Ann Clegg, Guildford, Surrey and Chard, Somerset, UK November 2005
5 days was never going to be enough, the thoughtful touches, the effort that went into making this wonderful place so homely. Thank you , we will be back.
Ross and Kerry, Aberdeen, UK November 2005
2 weeks R & R - home from home! Thanks to you both for your hospitality and generosity. We have rested and thoroughly enjoyed our time here - will be back!
Heidi and Martin, Ellis and Jacques Calverley, from across the valley! November 2005
Congratulations on creating such a beautiful place in what must be the most beautiful valley in Andalucia. We loved the Eastern facing where we could see the sun in the morning and the moon at night. Good luck with your garden.
Doug and Lois Thomas, Toronto, Canada October 2005
Many thanks for a great stay. Really chilled now, and ready to face the world again! Beautiful views up at El Chorro and the lakes beyond. The colony of eagles [!] was something to behold. A lovely spot - very friendly locals. Recommended.
Simon, Karen and Tom Thornhill and Phil, Sheffield, UK October 2005
Our second visit, a really beautiful place, quiet and relaxing. This place has our recommendation, see you again soon.
Mark and Leigh, Romford, UK October 2005
One week spent relaxing at a beautiful finca. El Chorro is a sight to see. Climbing superb. Great to meet Keith and Sherill. Accommodation lovely.
Peter and Jean, Manchester, UK October 2005
Another short, but relaxing, enjoyable visit. Great to meet Sherill this time - and Keith again too. Oliver studio perfect, and usual high standard - perfect for just chilling!! Thanks again - hasta luego
June and Ian Eglen, Haworth, UK October 2005
We have had three wonderfully relaxing days in a great spot. Thanks for your hospitality.
Tony Orr and Patricia Doogan, Pollokshields, Glasgow, UK October 2005
We arrived like theives in the night (midnight flight) but no problem with the route from the airport. Good birding in the area, particularly between the two bridges on the river and watching the fig tree. Good trips to El Chorro and excellent evenings at Bar Correos.
Kerry and Vaudrey Booth, UK September 2005
Such a delightful and relaxing place, perfect for unwinding. 'Abigail' very comfortable and well equipped - including special guests Gordon and Gary the geckos! Thank you Keith and Sherill for creating such a lovely place - it's a real blessing [Linda]

Birding highlights - passage of Red and Black Kites, Short-toed and Booted Eagles, Honey Buzzards - all viewed from the specially provided raptor watching chairs on the terrace.
The place to visit - Ronda. There are no words to describe it, so I won't. See it for yourself. [Peter]
Peter and Linda, Chilford, Nottingham, UK September 2005
Warm welcome, lovely views and accommodation. What better place to charge the batteries. No sightseeing though - couldn't be bothered to go out.
Rob and Eileen, Earls Colne, Essex (but nearly Suffolk!), UK September 2005
Every time we come a little more of us is left behind - soon, hopefully very soon, there will be nothing left to return back to England for and we be residents of Alora. Fantastic holiday, see you soon.
Thanks again for everything. 'Oliver' was just as good as 'Adam'. We hope to see you as soon as we can arrange our next visit. All the best.
Sue and John, Kettering, UK September 2005
Our first visit to Andalucia and of course Finca Limoneros. A warm and friendly welcome made us feel at home right away. We came to walk and birdwatch in the area. One of the best places to see many species of birds was the patio of Finca Limoneros! We emjoyed our stay very much and may be back for a Spring visit...
John and Beverly Pitchford, Mansfield, UK September 2005
6th visit and still full of surprises! Great bar terrace and wonderful, colourful landscaping. A wonderful, relaxing week, batteries fully recharged and looking forward to tackling the finer details of next year's 'Escape Artist' painting holiday.
Sue and Alan, Suffolk, UK September 2005
I just love it here and dream about it in the cold and damp of Wales! I'll certainly be returning [Jane]

Third time at Finca Limoneros and I'll definitely be returning. The place is a little gem. [Max]
Jane and Max, Cardiff, UK September 2005
Back again! We really like it here as it's so relaxing and you both make us feel so much at ease (loved your new bar Keith). Your home is so accessible, great location and fab views, as Arnie said 'we'll be back!'.
Aidan and Anne, Dublin, Ireland September 2005
At last my dreams came true, Finca Limoneros is a heaven on earth, well done Keith and Sherill. The children really enjoyed the pool. We hope to return in the near future.
All the best to you for the future and thanks very much.
Colin, Linda, Katie and Ben, Christchurch, UK September 2005
Well I'm going home a bird watcher, much to Brian's delight. Our highlights would be El Chorro, El Torcal, the vultures, buzzard migration and the wonderful tapas at the finca!
Sarah and Brian, Ayr & Troon, Scotland September 2005
A wonderful stay - everything the website led us to expect. Warm welcome, very comfortable accommodation and a beautifully tranquil setting to watch the world and the birds go by. Can't get over the spectacular scenery. We both loved it.
Jason and Cathy, Plymouth, UK August 2005
Fantastic location, excellent swimming pool, scrupulously clean apartment!
Everything we wished for and more. Our thanks to Sherill and Keith for making our stay a memorable one.
Mike, Chris and Vicky, Southampton, UK August 2005
...Our week has gone far too quickly. Excellent weather, beautiful area but above all, such a warm and welcoming place - Keith and Sherill you make perfect hosts. What a great place to stay to get away from that overused phrase 'the rat race'. Also agree that Keith's website sold us the finca. Great tapas for our last night with wonderful company of all ages and must mention Sherill's memorable lemon meringue pie.
In the words of The Terminator 'I'll be back', even if it's only to complete Keith's conversion to Neil Young with just a sprinkling of Pink Floyd!!...
Stewart and Angela, Chesterfield, UK August 2005
Fantastic, enjoyed every minute. Saw lots and hopefully will be back to see more.
Enjoyed my Spanish lessons with Pepe!
Well done Keith and Sherill - you've got it right - don't change anything.
Judith and Mike, Bolton-le-Sands, Carnforth, UK August 2005
What a beautiful, relaxing place Keith and Sherill have here! The ideal spot to unwind away from the masses... We made lemonade from the home-grown lemons, ate home-grown tomatoes and figs - fantastic!
Annemarie and Dave, Sale, Manchester, UK August 2005
A perfect and comfortable place to explore the beautiful nature of Andalucía. Keith and Sherill gave us 'the space' we needed to feel at home. For horseriding lovers we recommend to contact Louisa! Thanks.
Rosanna Pignanelli and Peter Vander Perre, Genk, Belgium July 2005
What an excellent venue for our 'honeymoon'. Once again we felt at home - many thanks also for the great tapas. Best wishes to you both - hopefully see you both soon!!

James and Tricia Williams, Wales, UK June 2005
Fourth (or is it fifth?) visit - as always accommodation spick and span, and Keith and Sherill very warm and welcoming. Loved Keith's garlic prawns and chicken kebabs - no lemon meringue though!
Thanks for another lovely stay! Grace and Alan XXX

Thanks again, I was struggling with what to write this morning in our
rush, but what I liked was the small details, books, CDs all manner of
kitchen equipment, everything to make you feel at home. Brilliant.
You'll be highly recommended by us!
Jo, Michael and Frankie, Norwich, UK June 2005
A very relaxing start to our holiday in Andalucia. Great birding, scenery and climate.
Dorothy and Brian Roffey, Reading, UK May 2005
Lovely, relaxing third visit for us to Keith and Sherill's place! Great to see the bar finished - super venue for pre-dinner drinks and tapas! Tried the pool at last, nice and refreshing after the hot sun. We had a fantastic visit and will definitely be back later in the year.
John and Linda Wall, Dublin, Eire and Preston, UK May 2005
Accommodation excellent, hosts likewise. Been to see loads and enjoyed every minute, Sherill and Keith's recommendations for eating out first class. Our favourites : Alejandro's and Finca Rocabella - not a patch on Sherill's Lemon Merigue Pie though! Were lucky enough to be here on opening night of the eagerly anticipated 'Bar' which was great. All the best for the future.
Stephen and Sharon, Fife, UK May 2005
Only here 4 days, so were always out and about, but what a great base we had in Finca Limoneros. Perfect location for the costas and the beautiful ans stunning countryside. Everything we needed and more was catered for in a well thought out welcome pack. Apartment was great and Keith and Sherill made us feel at home. Only complaint was we didn't get to try Sherill's famous Lemon Meringue Pie. Not a problem though as we're coming back ... with the kids.
John and Beth, Worcester, UK May 2005
Here to find our own 'Finca' to move to Spain ASAP - competition!
Thanks to Keith and Sherill for a relaxing stay and for all the hints and tips.
PS - try the Lemon Meringue Pie - delicious!

Really enjoyed our last evening, a great farewell party.

Steve and Maresah Haines, Southampton, UK April 2005
On a whistle-stop birdwatching tour of Spain, been to Monfrague National park, Coto Donana, Tarifa, Morocco and Gibraltar, but this is the most relaxing bit. We could easily have sat by the pool and watched the birds around this valley, but there is so much fabulous scenery to see in the area. Oliver studio easily the best accommodation of our holiday. We intend to visit this fabulous place again, sometime soon.
Martin and Carol, Billingham-on-Tees, Cleveland, UK April 2005
Second visit - perfect weather, excellent hospitality once again. Had a great time.
[David and Sarah previously stayed in April 2004]

The accommodation is excellent and the hosts are very friendly and helpful.

We came to climb and had a fantastic week.

We really liked the digs[!] and had a great time. We also loved the little gecko in our room, very cute! The lemons were excellent and we ate several of them every day (with bananas and sugar). Thanks for letting us take some with us. [Babette]
Hans, Ann, Babette and Linus Rafelghem, Oosterzele, Belgium April 2005
Really loved the Oliver apartment - we self-catered and had some excellent tapas home-style! Easy access to many beautiful spots, easy drives (went to Sevilla and Cordoba!! Both recommended). See you again [Martin]
Thank you for being wonderful hosts and love to Pepe (the Michael Douglas of Alora!). Look forward to seeing you again [Hayley]
Martin and Hayley, Hove, UK April 2005
Great base for a week's awesome climbing in the (El Chorro) Gorge! Knackered now after 7 days serious climbing. Made use of the lunch boxes every day at the crags.

A relaxing stay despite the (unseasonal?) cold weather. Can't fault the facilities. Thanks for the Welcome Pack, the oranges were delicious.

Will always think of Finca Limoneros when I'm shopping at Tesco and see lemons. It must smell delicious at blossom time.
