Keith and Sherill, Finca Limoneros...
Very pleasant and relaxing stay, with some lovely winter sunshine! Thanks Keith. By the way, you were right - the tapas bar (Casita de los Aperos) was great!
Michael and Linda Millar, Carrickfergus, Northern Ireland December 2007
The weather was a real bonus, with 12 out of 12 days being solid sunshine, however we didn't brave the pool!
Finca Limoneros suited our purpose perfectly as it is so ideally positioned in order to explore this part of Andalucia. Whichever direction you go the scenery is magic and combined with birdwatching and golf at Antequera, we had a great break. Thank you, Keith.
Sylvia and David Grant, La Manga Club, Murcia, Spain December 2007
A neat little apartment with all we needed for a short break - next time we will come straight from the airport now we know you are here. The pool looked fantastic - never made it in the November wind - next time maybe. But a wonderfaul garden - so many flowers in bloom in November. Perfect base to see and explore El Chorro and also Sierra de las Nieves. The stay is too short.
Mike and Pat Hodson, Sheffield, UK November 2007
Beautiful place, fantastic scenery, really peaceful - gone home feeling as if we've had a break!! Thank Louisa for us - daughter had a once in a lifetime experience riding out in the mountains. Amazingly clean swimming pool!!! (Pete and Lynda)
Ideal place - very quiet, studio very clean and comfortable. Have enjoyed the peace and quiet and had a good rest! (Jean)
Pete, Lynda and Jean Izdebski, Grantham, Lincs October 2007
Another two weeks in the Andalucian sun. Garden has matured, finca extended, Alora improved, but the Andalucian way is still the same. Great relaxation. Great base for exploration.
Mike Wyatt & Heather Ballantyne, Cumbria, UK October 2007
We have thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Keith's finca, the studio is immaculate and very pleasant - the location is outstanding with lovely views over the valley. We shall miss our birdwatching breakfasts!

On the birdwatching side, the place is a hidden gem. The guided birding tours were fantastic, even in October - 75+ birds seen, over 35 of which were new to us!

A very special place, perfect for birders and non-birders alike. Thanks Keith.
Will and Pris Logan, Abingdon, UK October 2007
A wonderful peaceful place to unwind from the stresses of everyday life. Had a fantastic day seeing the wonderful sights and the birdwatching trip with Keith was great.

We look forward to our next visit. Thanks Keith

Ideal for our purposes as a base to strike at the gruesome Malaga Airport.

Great facilities and atmosphere.
Robin Doreen and Emily Walling, Altrincham, UK September 2007
More than two weeks with (mostly) sun, almost our own pool, fantastic nature scenery, friendly hosts, exciting day trips and the possibility of living a lazy life in rural, but at the same time quite central Southern Spain, has given us the perfect vacation we wanted. Besos de H y H - Thanks!
Havard and Hanne, Oslo, Norway September 2007
We booked in January and watching the website daily built up our anticipation for the visit and we have not been disappointed. Had a great day birding with Keith. Birds seen included Waxbill, Wryneck, Night Heron, Short-toed Eagle, Griffon, Black Kite, Bee-eater, Golden Oriole, Southern Grey Shrike and many more.
A perfect base for birdwatching and visits to the lakes and mountains. We will be back.
Roger and Glenys Gregson, Poynton, Cheshire, UK September 2007
Lovely apartment - much bigger than we expected. Very tastefully and thoughtfully equipped.

A real haven of peace and quiet.... but may have to gag the cockerel down the hill!! Enjoyed our stay.
Michael and Jill Thomas, Ipswich, Suffolk, UK September 2007
Finca Limoneros was a terrific break from the hustle and bustle of the big cities and tourist destinations. We enjoyed being able to make our own food or going to a restaurant in town.

Keith's guided two days of birdwatching were fantastic. He knows all the best places to find all the best birds.
Martha and Dave Taylor, Calgary, Alberta, Canada September 2007
It's difficult to imagine a traditional rustic atmosphere with all modern conveniences! Beautiful clean apartments, SKY TV, WiFi Internet access, a fabulous pool, amazing scenery, beautiful mountains all help to make your stay a complete delight. Whatever your interests, Finca Limoneros is a real jewel for all.

What will I do without my morning swim? Thanks for your hospitality and the tip on going to El Chorro - beautiful! Best wishes [Helen]
Ali Bowers and Helen Dennis, London, UK August 2007
Only 2 nights at the finca - our stopover between Almeria and Cadiz. Spent the first evening exploring the village, but our one full day spent entirely at the finca itself - very hard to tear ourselves away from our porch and the pool, enjoying the tranquillity and the views. Great place to have a barbecue and a few drinks with Keith and our studio neighbours. Thanks Keith - lovely studio.
Tracey Owen and Tony Ellis, Barcelona, Spain August 2007
Our second stay and much longer to escape the desert Summer heat! We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Thx Keith XX
Lesley and Alex, Dubai, U.A.E. July 2007
Such a welcome break from our camping trip - a short rest for aching bones. Beautiful place, very nice apartment. Especially enjoyed our eggs for breakfast and our lemons for tea. Thanks Keith.

Thanks for an enjoyable day out learning about the birds of Southern Spain. A comfortable and well located base for exploring the area. The pool is a welcome respite from the heat!

Keith's hospitality - from the red wine to our escort from town - was unparallelled! The birding was fantastic and scenic - views breathtaking. A great day birding with a master who knows his birds and where to find them!
Jae and Saul Fisher, Huntingdon Valley PA, USA July 2007
Perfect place for chilling, peace and relaxation. Check out the night sky - amazingly clear and we saw 3 shooting stars.

Lovely accommodation.

Great place to unwind and to use as a base to explore the surrounding countryside and cities. We have thoroughly enjoyed our 'dowen' time. Happy to recommend it!

Many thanks for a memorable stay amidst your lovely garden with the heady scent of lemon blossom. A most comfortable apartment (Adam) and the chance to watch Bonelli's Eagles preparing to take their first flight.
The quiet country roads lined with brilliant spring flowers suited us exactly.

We have had a comfortable relaxing stay. Thank you for the tips on how to find a birding site. Will recommend to others.

Thank you so much for your exceptional hospitality and of course the fabulous birding experience! We need people like yourselves all over the world to help educate us all to preserving the wonders of our natural wild areas and our rual and urban wildlife. I'll send my birder friends!
Carol Cogswell, Boulder, Colorado, USA April 2007
Our fourth visit - due to our late arrival the welcome pack was even more appreciated.

Once again Finca Limoneros was food for the soul. We will return again and again until we finally settle here. Our love of Alora grows with every visit. See you soon.
John and Sue Haslam, Kettering, UK March 2007
