Where to go Birding in Central Andalucia Southern Spain

Finca Limoneros is an ideal place to stay for birders, who now make up more than half of our guests. Heidi, your host, is an experienced and keen birder and guide and willingly offers advice to guests on how to make the most of their stay.

We are located in Alora on the slopes of the Rio Guadalhorce valley, only 35 minutes drive from Malaga airport.Our central position is within easy reach of many important and well-known birding areas such as El Chorro, the Teba Gorge and the Laguna de Fuente de Piedra, but these are only half the story.

Heidi is part of Scenic Bird Tours and has an intimate knowledge of all the best sites in the Guadalhorce Valley and surrounding areas - including many off road tracks and paths which visiting birders stand little chance of finding on their own.
